Travis was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania but has been in Dallas since 2008. His long journey to The Solar Company started with the being in the competitive field of Commercial Real Estate Brokerage & Development for almost 20 years. His expertise in underwriting real estate projects helps him see the benefits of solar from an owner’s perspective. He holds everyone to the highest standard of customer satisfaction and is adamant about building a culture that every prospect holds for their own company. Travis takes pride in his approach to marketing by spending time in and out of the office creating and maintaining strong, long-standing relationships with clients. In his spare time Travis enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, staying active and golfing. He still does not have a hole in one.

Chet was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Shortly after he graduated High School in 2005, he went to work in the oilfields at Prudhoe Bay on Alaska’s North Slope where he eventually rose to oversee the corrosion under insulation crew and the asbestos testing and removal team. After leaving the oil field, he partnered with an electrical engineer and formed Lime Solar in 2011. Lime Solar became a success in residential and commercial solar sales and installation. Chet has installed solar panels in various environments from remote Alaska to small islands in the Pacific Ocean. Chet is married to his highschool sweetheart and father to 4 children. Chet’s natural leadership crossed over from business to the basketball courts where he enjoys coaching youth teams. In his spare time Chet loves going to professional sports events. Growing up a Cowboys fan, he’s ecstatic to be in their backyard and finally be able to attend games.

Randall Kohutek is the Chief Construction Officer of The Solar Company who is involved with coordinating field employees, subcontractors, and materials involved in a solar installation project. Randall oversees all solar installations from start to finish and ensures customers have the best possible experience. Randall Kohutek graduated from Liberty University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration: Project Management. Randall got his start at F3 & Associates, Inc. working as a project manager assistant, assisting in estimating, planning, and managing land surveying projects in California and Nevada. Early in 2020, Randall moved to Texas and joined the Plano Police Department where he served until 2022. His passion for managing construction projects was too hard to resist so he joined The Solar Company and we couldn’t be happier to have him be a part of the team. Randy enjoys spending his free time with his wife Michaela and baby girl Elena.
Jason was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. After he graduated from high school he attended Liberty University where he obtained a B.S. & Masters in Mathematics and Education Administration. While attending Liberty for his undergraduate degree, Jason competed and lettered on the Cross County and Track & Field teams. Jason spent 25 years as a Mathematics teacher, Athletic Administrator, and High School Principal before joining our team. He is proficient in both Aurora and Sighten Design Software. He is also ProCore Software certified as an Administrator and in Project Management. Jason met his wife in college and has been married since 1994. They have four children who are in adulthood or will be entering soon. In his free time, Jason enjoys running, reading, anything sports related, and spending time with his wife and children.
Doug began his solar career in 2012 while still working in the oilfields on Alaska's North Slope. After nearly a decade, he has made the transition to working exclusively in the solar industry. Over the years, he has installed a variety of systems, including grid-tied-in, battery-backed up, and solar thermal. He is also well versed in various mounting systems including top of pole, ground, roof, and vertical wall mounts. Doug has done installs in locations ranging from urban apartment complexes to some of the most remote wilderness lodges in the back country and frozen tundra of Alaska. In addition to his solar knowledge, Doug brings with him a dedication to worksite safety and collaboration, built on years of work in harsh and isolated environments. Doug enjoys spending time with his family in his down time and can build anything you can think of.
Lee has over 10 years of Solar Installation experience where he additionally worked under a master electrician and logged over 6000 hours. He’s hold the following certifications - Class A CDL, Forklift certified, OSHA 10, CPR/FIRST-AID. His work ethic and attention to detail are in a class all by itself and its apparent as soon as he steps onto a job site. His past companies include SolarCity, Icon Power, Arcadia Solar Solutions, Lime Solar and Midnight Sun Solar. Lee was born and raised in Alaska. He’s Eskimo and has Cajun blood as well so consider yourself lucky if he cooks for you!
Quincy has 15 years’ experience in solar carports and Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure. He’s worked for Electrify America, a VW subsidiary where he conducted site plan development, utility installation coordination, site acquisition and vendor and partner coordination. He worked with external design build firms to develop charging installations spanning 29 highway and 5 metropolitan sites. Prior to that, Quincy worked under the title of EV Operations Manager for Nissan North America where he conducted comprehensive dealership sales training for 2015 and 2016 Nissan LEAF. There, he also negotiated, developed, and recommended dealer co-op marketing and advertising initiatives, assisted in EV and EVSE service or customer related issues, and coordinated and established customer focused events. During both stints at EA and Nissan, Quincy ran a one man operation called 3Billion Renewable Energy, where he focused attention on developing construction and design methodologies for cost effective solar carports. He also designed an elevated green-roof parking structure called the Terraport. In his spare time, Quincy enjoys playing the drums, and hanging out with friends and family and developing sustainable commercial real estate.
